Howard Song

Howard Song

Director of Charter Operations

Howard Song is the Director of Charter Operations at SimpleCharters, leading our team of flight advisors in providing outstanding service to our customers. Howard’s love of aviation started as a child looking through a pair of binoculars for airplanes on final descent into LAX. This passion led him to become a flight attendant with Northwest Airlines in the mid 90s and as his family grew, he realized being halfway around the world didn’t work. He decided to plant his feet back on terra ferma and tried his hand at a “civilian job,” but caught himself staring at the sky, and realized he had to go back. This time he took a more grounded approach by gaining experience at a fixed based operator and then moving into charter and logistics. He has spent the last decade working and leading charter and logistics departments. Along with his love of aviation, his family has spent the better part of a decade helping his son train and compete at a very high level in target archery. They realized one of his goals when he became a member on the 2018 USA Junior Men’s Archery Team. He is currently attending college on the east coast, but will hopefully continue after graduation. Howard currently resides in Diamond Bar, CA with his wife, son, daughter, and Border Collie.
