Large Cabin Jet

Heavy Jets typically carry between 10-16 passengers for well over 7000 miles with many amenities such as full galleys, enclosed lavatories, sleeping configurations and flight attendants. Aircraft in this category include the Gulfstream G-550, Bombardier Global Express and Dassault 2000.

Super Midsize Jet

Super Mid aircraft are similar in layout and amenities as heavy jets, only on a smaller scale with amenities that include fully enclosed restrooms, galleys and entertainment systems. Super Midsize jets comfortably carry between seven -12 passengers and travel well over 3000 miles. This class features aircraft such as the Cessna Citation X, Falcon 50 and Bombardier Challenger 300.

Midsize Jet

Mid-Sized Jets comfortably carry between six and eight passengers, can travel from coast to coast in most cases and have amenities such as a refreshment bar, entertainment systems and a lavatory. The Mid-Sized Jet category includes the Gulfstream G-150, Lear 55 and Hawker 800.

Light Jet

Very Light Jet (VLJ)

Very Light Jet provide jet access to smaller runways, closer to destinations with the ability to avoid larger airports. Flying between 500-100 miles and and able to carry up to four passengers, the Very Light Jet provides a more affordable option while still allowing the speed and comfort of a jet. Very Light Jets include the Embraer Phenom 100, Cessna Citation Mustang and Eclipse Jet.

Turboprop

Turboprop aircraft come in a wide range of size, configuration and amenities. Turboprops use a turbine engine as jets do but with a propellor as its source of thrust. Turboprops can travel between 500 - 1500 miles and carry 5-10 passengers with amenities like club seating, a pressurized cabin and large luggage areas. The Pilatus PC-12, Beechcraft King Air are all popular turboprop aircraft.

Multi-engine Piston

Multi-Engine Piston aircraft rely on piston engines as their powerplants, carry up to eight passengers and travel between 250-500 miles. Common multi-engine piston engine aircraft include Beechcraft Baron, Piper Seminole and Cessna 340.

Single-engine Piston

Single-Engine Piston carry between one and four passengers on flights up to 300 miles and find their charter niche on short trips with few passengers and luggage and have a price advantage over larger options. This class of aircraft includes the Cirrus SR-22, Cessna 182 and Beechcraft Bonanza.
